The Wildlife Guardian enjoyed an amazing visit to UK Wild Otter Trust in Devon courtesy of the award winning founder Dave Webb.
The otter photograph is the lovely ‘Tolga’ the only permanent resident as all the others are heading for a release back into the wild.
It was great to hear that the local mink (otter) hunts have now lost so much hunting country thanks to Dave and the Trust being able to prove the presence of wild otters and so making it a criminal offence for any mink hunt to disturb these habitats where they have been told there are otters.
We enjoyed an amazing time with the otters and had a great catch up with Dave.
